Magazine créé par Séverine Gorlier et Clôde Coulpier qui, pour chaque numéro, invitent un artiste à investir une feuille A4. Le contenu est ensuite recopié à la main puis imprimé à l'aide d'une polycopieuse. Le nombre d'exemplaires est défini par l'épuisement de l'encre sur le papier, jusqu'à la disparition de l'image. Petit Chat Magazine se présente sous la forme d'une polycopie recto, glissée dans une pochette plastique transparente et étiquetée. Il s'agit d'un dispositif simple et autonome : les artistes recopient le dessin, superposent le papie carbone et le stencil puis tourne la manivelle de la polycopieuse. Nonobstant le caractère mécanique de la chose, l'effort donné aboutit à un essoufflement sur le papier ainsi qu'à une altération de l'image qui se transforme peu à peu et devient autre.

Petit Chat (little cat) is a magazine founded by Séverine Gorlier and Clôde Coulpier; for each issue, an artist is invited to fill a sheet of A4 paper. The content is then copied by hand and printed onto a stencil machine. Printing continues until the ink runs out and the image totally disappears from the paper, thereby determining the number of copies of a given issue. Petit Chat is distributed as one-sided duplicate inside a labeled transparent sleeve. The system is simple and autonomous, for the artists merely copy the drawing onto the stencil, back it with carbon paper, and then run the handle of the copying machine. Despite the mechanical nature of the operation, the effort culminates in an evanescence on the paper and an alteration in the image, wich steadily turns into something else.
